Kate Coffee

You may ask me what the difference is between Taitung and Taipei?

“If Taipei is an advanced city to make a living, Taitung would be a good place to enjoy life” said by Allen Sun. However, I might say that Taitung is the secret garden of Formosa worth everyone to discover.

Today I am going to introduce a coffee shop named “Kate Live/ Art/ Coffee”. In a well decorated rectangle open space, the coffee bar is in the left middle side, where you can easily hear the bean crash sound from coffee grinder and steaming sound from coffee machine. And of course, a fresh coffee is almost ready to serve on your table.

 

There are four sitting areas at your choice. I believe different style table and chair would bring you the different atmosphere for coffee drinking and relaxing.

 

Chatting with friends, reading a novel, or slipping smartphone is what we do while drinking coffee; however, here in Kate you can also distract your attention to each wall and corner.

 

Kate will irregularly either host solo exhibitions of some important artists or display the collections of some specific themes. I think Kate coffee presents the unique life style, not only the taste of coffee but also the taste for space. If you get tired of chain store coffee, Kate is a nice choice you may consider when you visit Taitung City.
